This past month fellow believers from 120 nations gathered in Springfield, MO., for the Centennial Celebration of the Assemblies of God. What a celebration it was as we reflected upon what God has done. Our task, however, is far from finished! His focus was the Holy Spirit’s person and work as indispensable to effectively do God’s will. This brother rightly said, “We can do nothing of God without the Holy Spirit.”  This is from a man who has spent time in prison and had the church he pastored in Iran closed simply because of being Christian.
