Islamic Sunday School?

Did you know that many mosques in America have established “Sunday School” as part of the services they offer? While many of these systematic classes were established for training Muslim children, many other Muslim “Sunday Schools” intentionally reach out to non-Muslims in the their communities. These Sunday School programs often promote the ethical and family values of Islam which, in our post-Christian pluralistic society, resounds with great appeal.  Should this alarm us as the church of Jesus Christ? What Was Jonah’s Problem?

We know that Jonah did a 180-degree turn when God said, “Arise, go to Nineveh!” But why was Jonah resistant? Was he simply resistant to submitting to God’s will? Did he merely not want to relocate? Was he apathetic towards the Assyrians? We gain insight when we see Jonah’s response to the Assyrians turning to God. God was prepared to bring disaster upon the city, if they did not repent. Several aid and church organizations have been working to assist these displaced families… to help them find peace and hope. Thanks to the support of friends…

Seeing Muslims Through Jesus’ Eyes

Do you ever feel like a major hypocrite? For over twenty years I have been reaching out to Muslims with the Christ’s love. I have been encouraging fellow Christ followers to do the same. The wife was covered and trying to wrestle her kids while she placed the entire family’s order. Her husband was off to the side waiting for her to manage the children, as well as his…
